Aunt Verlene's German Pancakes





Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Mix in blender or CuisineArt:
9 eggs
3/4 cup flour
3 T. sugar
dash salt
1 1/2 cups half and half or milk

Melt 2 T. butter in an oven safe frying pan, about 11 or 12 inches in diameter. Pour 1/2 of batter into hot frying pan with melted butter. Put pan into oven and bake for 7 minutes at 425. Then turn heat down to 375 for 8 more minutes. Slide pancake onto a hot platter and top with 1/2 of:

4 T. melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 t. cinnamon
juice from one lemon

Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Prepare second pancake using remaining batter and topping.
